Based on this reality, the People’s Committee of Dak Lak province has requested the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (MARD) to advise the Government to amend Decree 38 to allow the granting of land use right certificates for areas of sustainably intercropped fruit trees if those areas still meet the unified procedures for pest management and food safety.

Dak Lak also requested the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to promptly issue specific guidelines on the process, procedures, and timeframe for resuming operations of MSG and packaging facilities after rectifying the issues raised in warnings; and requested the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to work with the Chinese side to expedite the approval of the dossiers for MSG and packaging facilities that have been completed by the locality.
